Mr. Henry M. Chiang, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer announced today that the State and City have reached an agreement with Doyle Hutton Associates to move forward with plans for a new world headquarters building.
“Doyle Hutton Associates investment is a critical element of the construction engine that will sustain the economy. Doyle Hutton Associates decision to construct their state-of-the-art environmentally-friendly world headquarters is a powerful demonstration of confidence from a leader in the financial services community. Doyle Hutton Associates' decision to build their new headquarters here means keeping and creating thousands of permanent and construction jobs in Hong Kong. This project means billions of dollars in tax revenue for Hong Kong. I am particularly pleased that the City, State and Doyle Hutton Associates were able to produce an agreement." said a Hong Kong official.
The building is being designed to achieve green certification by using the latest green building technologies. It is expected to be one of the largest commercial office buildings in the country to achieve such a high rating. The high-tech building is intended to serve as Doyle Hutton Associates' headquarters, housing its investment banking, investment management, and trading operations.
