Peachtree Corners, GA — / PRBlast / — As announced in the previous weeks, the rebranding process of the product line by MAGISNAT is almost complete. Soon, the dietary supplements that were first launched on the market under the name “GARLIVE”—composed by the words “Garda” (the biggest lake in Italy, area of origin of MAGISNAT) and “olive” (the most typical plant of the Mediterranean diet, growing abundantly on the shores of Lake Garda)—are currently undergoing a restyling, which did not affect their composition, but only the logo and graphic materials of the products (https://magisnat-rd.com/third-week-of-april-2023/).

The new name is “Dr. Matteo Bertelli’s”, in honor of MAGISNAT’s founder. Another reason that led to this choice was the will of MAGISNAT’s researchers, coming from Italy and the USA, to widen the scope of our dietary supplements: the natural molecules contained in the ones that are going to be developed and produced will come not only from the olive tree, but also from many other plants, fruits, and vegetables that are typically employed as ingredients in the Mediterranean Diet.

Still, the olive tree is a very important component of the Mediterranean diet, which is why MAGISNAT decided not to lose completely the reference by depicting a small olive branch on top of the new name. Moreover, an extract of the olive tree and fruits is hydroxytyrosol, the main ingredient of the two dietary supplements by MAGISNAT that are already on the market.

These products are going to appear in a new and improved look, thanks to the rebranding. We must also mention that they will be renamed too, as follows:

• “Dr. Matteo Bertelli's Immune System Tablets” (formerly “Garlive Recovery” – https://magisnat.com/dr-matteo-bertellis-immune-system-tablets);
• “Dr. Matteo Bertelli's Immune System Spray” (formerly “Garlive Oral Spray” – https://magisnat.com/dr-matteo-bertellis-immune-system-spray).

We specify again that the changes will only affect their outer appearance, while their formulations will remain exactly the same.

Peachtree Corners, GA — / PRBlast / — The rebranding of MAGISNAT is currently ongoing and, as announced last week (https://magisnat-rd.com/first-week-of-april-2023/), we are going to dive deeper into the reasons that led to this decision.

As mentioned in the last press release, the previous name of our product line felt too limitative. The name “GARLIVE”—created combining “Garda” (the name of the biggest lake in Italy, on whose shores the idea of MAGISNAT began to form) and “olive” (the most famous Mediterranean plant, which flourishes in the area of Lake Garda)—was too tightly linked to only one of the many plants that are typically employed as ingredients of the Mediterranean diet.

The olive tree is of course one of the most famous and characterizing plants of the Mediterranean diet, and hydroxytyrosol (a polyphenol extracted from the fruit and leaves of the olive tree) is the main ingredient of the two dietary supplements developed by MAGISNAT and already on the market. This is why we chose not to lose this theme in the new logo, which depicts a small olive branch at the top. However, the name needed to change, to give a wider scope and more freedom to our researchers’ curiosity, which aims at using natural molecules from many other Mediterranean plants, fruits, and vegetables.

So, the name of the product line was changed to “Dr Matteo Bertelli’s”, which is of course in honor of the founder of MAGISNAT, but there is also another reason behind this choice. As already mentioned on our website, Dr Matteo Bertelli’s choice to create a spin-off in America was inspired by an important Italian entrepreneur and historical figure of the early 20^th century, Achille Bertelli (https://magisnat.com/story-of-achille-bertelli).

After graduating in Chemistry in 1875, Achille Bertelli left Italy for the United States of America, more precisely to San Francisco (CA), where he opened his chemical-pharmaceutical laboratory in 1879. The American experience enabled Achille Bertelli to achieve the skills and know-how he needed to develop his chemical and pharmaceutical company in Italy, “A. Bertelli & C.”, which was a very successful. Apart from his entrepreneurial feats, Achille Bertelli was also extremely passionate about flight and aviation (his “Aerostave” is considered to be among the first prototypes of the helicopter).

So, the choice of using the name of the founder is also a tribute to this fascinating and multifaceted historical figure, in a sort of ideal link between the tradition represented by Achille Bertelli and his example and the innovation of Dr Matteo Bertelli’s MAGISNAT.

This is why we chose also to change the names of the product, which will soon be available on our Amazon store (currently under maintenance, but you can already find the information about the new products on our website):

Peachtree Corners, GA — / PRBlast / — In Spring new ideas bloom, and April’s spirit of renewal has reached the headquarters of MAGISNAT. In today’s meeting, the minds behind this innovative spin-off, American and Italian professors and researchers, have met to discuss an important step forward: MAGISNAT’s product line is going to be rebranded!

The choice, of course, was not random. The name of our (soon to be) former brand, “GARLIVE”, began feeling too limitative for our products, which—as the name suggests—were first developed using olive tree polyphenols, and most importantly hydroxytyrosl, renowned for its beneficial properties. MAGISNAT’s goal, as stated time and time again, is to spread well-being among the population through the promotion of the principles and natural molecules of the Mediterranean diet, contained in our dietary supplements. This is why a name that cited only one of the many typical plants of the Mediterranean diet (though, of course, one of the most famous and beneficial) needed to be changed.

So, after careful consideration, in order to give our product line a wider scope, we chose a new logo that reflects all the ideas and themes that are the basis of MAGISNAT: its main color is still green, in order to evoke nature and plants. Also, we chose not to lose the olive leaves that have characterized us from the very beginning: they have been turned into a small olive branch, carrying 3 (lucky number!) olives. Finally, as mentioned above, the name wasalso changed: “Dr. Matteo Bertelli’s”, in honor of MAGISNAT’s founder – and inspired by an important historical figure, about whom we will discuss in a following Meeting. This choice enables our researchers to expand the scope of their interests and studies to develop dietary supplements containing natural molecules naturally contained in many plants of the Mediterranean diet, not only from the olive tree.

We will further explain the ideas behind this rebranding in the next press releases, until our products will finally be on the market in their new packaging. Not only that, we must specify that also the dietary supplements already composing the “GARLIVE” line have been renamed, as follows:
