Leading construction software developer HCSS (www.hcss.com) has announced the promotion of JP Giometti to Executive Director, Global Strategy and Business Development. In his new role, Giometti will be responsible for the Caterpillar, Trimble, and Microsoft relationships. He will oversee the company’s long-term strategy, strategic partnerships, technology scouting, and innovation.

Giometti joined HCSS as Director of Strategic Product Management in January 2015. Since then, he has seen the company grow from 150 employees to 300 today.

“JP has been instrumental in building our relationships with strategic industry partners and driving innovation, allowing us to provide even more value to our customers,” said HCSS CEO Mike Rydin. “He is very talented at understanding all business issues involved and crafting a win-win for all parties.”

Giometti serves as a board member for the AEMP Technology Committee (Association of Equipment Management Professionals). Additionally, he serves as board member and construction technology mentor at the NHEO Institute. He previously served as a Board of Directors member at University City Partners, where his work included planning and implementation strategy for land use, green and open space, road, highway and rail infrastructure, pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, and investment in the public realm.

A recognized leader and frequent public speaker in the technology and infrastructure construction sectors, Giometti brings 20 years of unique expertise for improving capital projects outcomes by leveraging exponential technologies, intelligent materials and lean methodologies.

Giometti holds a Master of Business Administration from both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Tel-Aviv University. He has also completed Executive Programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Singularity University.
