We did switch recently from CCS Candy into CostOS by Nomitech. The last provides a similar worksheets functionality / editor. We are able to define variables and write formulas for easy pricing. These can be stored in the master database (similar to Master Worksheet in Candy) and then use similar workflows to price items.
The best part is that we managed with Nomitech’s help to migrate all of our Candy worksheets in CostOS in just a few hours and were fully operational very quickly.
The advantage we get is that CostOS works over SQL server, it has integrations with BIM (revit, IFCs, DWGs etc) , Primavera, MSProject and easy exporting/importing to Excel. There is also a functionality that we use as Contractors to adjust last minute pricing, rates etc and populate the BOQs quickly. I would highly recommend it.
