The developers have been hard at work preparing their new RPG titled Celestial Tear: Demon’s Revenge, for a kickstarter campaign beginning on May 5th.

Celestial Tear: Demon’s Revenge is an exciting sci-fi fantasy game that begins on the diverse planet of Hasphal. Humans believe that the native creatures are dangerous and disfigured demons from a hellish place called Remerin that should be defeated in the honor and name of their Gods, and for the protection of the inhabitants of the world.

However, the game’s players will soon notice that not everything is what it seems to be. They will be able to completely plunge into the dangerous and thrilling world of epic battles, enjoying this fully animated system. They will join the adventures of Sen, who uncovers the mysteries about the real Hasphal’s history and its “perilous” inhabitants, finding out more about herself, too. The game is full of puzzles and secret areas that will keep the gamers’ attention engaged all the time, while they experience the story with the motion comic cut scenes and 2D pixel animations.

Gamers will be able to carefully plan their strategies in this familiar, yet unique battle system, using the power of the environment or being defeated by it. An advantage over the enemies can be gained when the player throws pillars or cuts down trees, among other things. Multiple artifacts wait to be uncovered and explored.

Everyone will enjoy the contrasted world of Hasphal with its high mountains, deep oceans, mystical forests and cities with impressive landmarks. The game is based on a day and night system with multiple engaging and fun puzzles to be solved.

The Kickstarter campaign will be looking to fund art assets, music, and some pixel work with a modest goal of $30,000.

Växjö, Sweden, April 28, 2014 -- A project consisting of seven paintings- each seemingly identical with a numerical figure on each. Does the number reflect the price?

Amateur artist, Matthias Kamann has just recently released his latest art project. Produced in his native town of Växjö, Sweden, these hand built pieces feature seven hand-painted, large, white canvas, each with a black numerical figure on it. The first painting shows a “1”, the second a “10”, the third a “100”, up until the seventh, a “1.000.000".

Kamann is set to sell each of the seven paintings on his website, for one week, from April 28 to May 4, 2014. The prices? Here’s a clue: the figures written on the paintings are the prices or values that Matthias attaches to the paintings.

The project doesn’t only consist of these seven paintings. The sales process also is an integral part of it. “I want to see what people make of it. Do they evaluate my art with a different price than the one I attached to them?” states Kamann. “Those who want to buy a Value Art painting can sign up between April 28 and May 4. If there is more than one person interested into a painting, the winner will be drawn and get the opportunity to buy the painting.” The signup-period will last 7 days. Finally, the week after May 4, when the sale will end, the artwork “Value Art” will be concluded. By then everyone will know whether the viewers agree on Kamann’s valuation or price claim –and ifhe sold his 1 million dollar painting for its “value”.

Value Art is an artwork that confronts the viewers with the question what monetary value actually is and deals with the subjectivity of value. The artistic goal is to make the viewers reflect on how they value things.

Matthias Kamann provided a noteworthy comment on how is project came to be, “For me, Value Art is a statement of dual conflict. It wants to show the people how easily we perceive something as valuable just because a huge price tag is attached to it - at the same time, Value Art doesn’t only want to teach- it also wants to be sold itself. With other words - Value Art expresses the conflict every artist has to go through every time he or she decides to sell the art and has to put a price tag on their artwork,” states Matthias Kamann. “I want people to think - will this marketing guy, who is irritated about manipulative, marketing practices, sell a simple canvas for one million dollars? How many people want a 1 dollar painting?"

Each painting measures in at 45.3 in x 72.6 in, and was painted in November of 2011. They have been shown in exhibits twice in Sweden, one of them in a Café and one in the Library of Linnaeus University in Växjö and have quickly grown local attention.

Born in 1980, Matthias Kamann grew up as a farmer's child. Over the last couple of years he has been living in a cozy, little town in Sweden, called Växjö. He graduated with a masters degree in marketing at the local university (Linnaeus University) – to which he earlier came as an exchange student from Germany. His goal with this artwork and his future art projects is to reach many people to provoke, entertain and make them reflect about how they consume and are affected by marketing.

Indie rock songwriter Andrew Adkins finds his more folky, eclectic, softer (and sometimes electronic) side in the form of new project The Colored Parade.

Nashville, TN, 28 April 2014 -- Singer/songwriter, producer and mult- instrumentalist Andrew Adkins presents a new, eclectic mixture of sound with his new music project The Colored Parade. "…And The Walls Of The City Will Shake", the debut release from Adkins' new solo endeavor will be released May 6. The eccentric, varied flavor of music found on this recent collection of songs blurs the lines between various genres and styles. Shades of Americana, Pop, Electronica, loops, samples gives the listener something fresh with each listen. Every song has something different and something unique to offer. Engaging and infectious from start to finish. The Colored Parade is the first of two releases this year. Andrew plans to release an album near the end of the year under his own name. "I wrote and recorded a couple album's worth of songs which sound nothing like each other!" explains Adkins. "I wanted to put one out under an identity, which sort of allows it to breathe on it's own. Like creating an alter-ego. The second part, I wanted to release under my own name. It is more bare-bones and raw than The Colored Parade. I didn't want to confuse people with two contrasting sounds and albums so I created two boxes to present them in."

Andrew Adkins is no fresh face on the scene. He spent the better part of the last decade on/off the road with his former band, Mellow Down Easy. "We were kids, having fun and learning. Indulging all that road had to offer and living the dream!" The band was a quirky blend of roots music and psychedelic blues. "We sold some albums, toured constantly, made some fans but never really took off majorly because nobody knew how to market us!" exclaims Adkins. The band made their last album for Dualtone Records in 2009. Shortly after Andrew started a new group with ex-members of other bands he was friends with. That band became Lions for Real. "We started the band and within 6 months we were on a plane being flown to Los Angeles by Warner Brothers." The deal fell through but they were picked up by Werewolf Heart Records, which is the home of Dead Man's Bones a band that features acclaimed actor Ryan Gosling. "The whole L.A. thing was a mess. It killed my enthusiasm and burned me out of the music we were creating. Tensions heated and I jumped ship!" explains Adkins. Shortly thereafter Andrew was offered a spot on the road in Rockabilly icon Hank III's band. "I was dead set on it at first. Hank is a super sweet guy but I had started working on demos of new songs and my head and heart was just not feeling traveling. So I declined at the last minute and decided to make these albums". The Colored Parade will be available everywhere online and select record stores May 6. "I feel the most excited, confident and proud of this music than anything I have done in the past. I cannot wait for people to hear this music! This is the album I have always wanted to make."
