On AJ's 15^th birthday last November, she heard an ad on the radio. This was a talent search exclusively for kids. She wsnted to participate, and well, it WAS her birthday. So we called the 800 number and drove to Raleigh at our appointed time. Out of 845 kids that auditioned, she was one of 20 chosen to attend The Event in Orlando Florida in March. We signed her up for 18 showcases that included singing, dancing, acting and modeling. At The Event there were aaprox 75 talent agents and managers, that were judging performances. AJ received 6 call backs, one of them was from Andrew Lane of Drew Right Music. He said their was something very special about her and wanted to work with her".

Andrew Lane is a pop-hip hop-R&B songwriter and record producer. He was born in San Diego, California.

Lane has worked with artists such as Backstreet Boys and Irene Cara, As a producer and songwriter, Lane has received gold and platinum accreditations for his work. He also worked on the platinum-accredited records High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Disneymania 4, and Manny Fresh.

Paula Clarke’s love for music began at an early age during her time spent in the church choir.
