Young Black Males Got Game

Chicagoan Derek McNeal, J.D., C.P.A. Is Moving Forward To Make Real Estate The New Game

Friday, October 14th, 2016 -- It’s a given that young Black males have risen to the top of the sports and music industries. Time for a game change. And, Derek McNeal has set in motion the dynamics for that change, by offering a real estate scholarship to young Black males between the ages of 21 - 35. This will not only change the game, but its players.

Without dispute, land and real estate development is certainly this planet’s greatest commodity, with winners and losers among nations, races, tribes, and individuals. A recent survey indicated that 8 out of 10 millionaires made their money in real estate.

On October 22, 2016, The Dearborn Realtist Board will host The Derek McNeal Real Estate Scholarship Award Ceremony in Chicago. This scholarship will be awarded annually to Black males, who demonstrate the ability and interest in learning and becoming a part of the real estate industry. Each recipient will be trained to become licensed real estate consultants and groomed to join the ranks of the nation’s most prominent real estate industry leaders.

The ceremony will be held at the Greater Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church located at 109 E 53rd Street in Chicago at 4 pm. For more information contact Joyce Gibson @ 773-324-4223.
