The X Factor’s Daryl Black To Release New Single, “Cover Girl” Off Forthcoming Album

Chapter Two Records is pleased to announce the release of “Cover Girl,” the highly anticipated single off Daryl Black’s forthcoming new body of work.

“Cover Girl” which Daryl wrote and produced is a disco party song, with funk, post-disco, and nu-disco elements. This song serves as Daryl’s debut love song, considering his woman as ‘one of a kind’ and that he will never let her go. Daryl admits that he was influenced by Michael Jackson and Prince to write this song.

The first single “Cover Girl” will premiere on Friday, October 25(th) at 7pm EST on www.darylblack.com

Daryl Black was introduced to the world when he stepped on The X Factor stage in San Francisco and sang his soulful-jazzy rendition of Gym Class Heroes', "Stereo Hearts”. The judges, Demi Lovato, LA Reid, Britney Spears and Simon Cowell were astounded by his stage presence and smooth vocal tone. The audience gasped and cheered for Daryl’s mesmerizing performance. “I think you took over and commanded the stage! Your stage presence and tone are amazing, and I loved it,” said Britney Spears. “You remind me of Nat King Cole…there’s a place for you,” professed Simon Cowell.
