Supports demand for farm loan waiver of Rs.8,000 crore

Hyderabad, Oct 2015 -- Ravi Kumar Yadav, Vice President of Telangana Youth Congress was in support of the first state-wide bandh against Telangana RashtraSamithi on October 10. Opposition parties threatened to bring the state to a standstill unless the government agreed to a one-time and full payment of the farm loan waiver amounting to nearly Rs 8,000 crore.

Speaking about the bandh, Mr Yadav said: “Through this bandh, we want to urge the Government to act swiftly in support of the farmers of the state. To be effective the farm loan waiver has to be dealt with in one fell swoop. A phased waiver will not have the desired results.”

Ravi Kumar Yadav works fervently to promote socio-economic development in the state. He has seen rapid growth within Youth Congress and has risen to position of Vice President in a very short frame of time. In addition to this, he also serves a secretary to the TheSandaiah Memorial Trust.
