Hana’s Hope 14th Annual Day of Caring and Customer Appreciation
The goal of Hana’s Hope is to provide healing and wellness to those in situations where they are experiencing partial or total hair loss due to illness. Hana believes that because an individual cannot afford to pay, does not mean they should be restricted from feeling and looking wonderful. Hana provides compassionate services in lieu of the ability to pay, which is the heart of her philosophy.
A true humanitarian in life, Hana’s mission is to show compassion to those in need by catering to their hair and beauty needs. Hana started out by working in the oncology departments of several Denver area hospitals including Children’s Hospital, St Josephs Hospital, Boulder Community Hospital and Rose Medical Center. Hana has worked extensively with those affected with mild to chronic cases of Alopecia, burn victims and clients with thinning hair.
“The pain and suffering these women go through from the diagnosis to treatment touches me deeply as I am a cancer survivor myself” quoted Hana of Hana Designs.
“As a child, I grew up with the belief of making outstanding accomplishments in life and this is my way of reassuring that promise I made to myself”. “To be able to touch these delicate individuals that come into my store by placing a wig on their head so that they leave with smiles and laughter touches me deeply”.
“I do this for the inner happiness it brings my clients and from knowing how hard serious illness can be on a person”.
The annual Hana’s Hope Day will be held Saturday, September 27th from 9am to 5pm at 229 W. Littleton Blvd. To celebrate the day of hope, everything in the store will be discounted at 30% to eligible customers. Services can also be scheduled for a later date.

Additionally, Hana’s Hope is actively seeking donations, volunteers and sponsors to help those suffering from hair loss due to tragic illness.
