Following the success of his first album, Jon Keenan continues to share his music with his upcoming album “Imagination to the Nation”. It is his new product that comprises 16 songs under the indie label of Full Circle Entertainment. Coming from scratches and chaotic life, John Keenan had made it big with his music. He is down to his second album that would be available for pre order on August 2013. The second album of John Keenan will be fully available on the 20th of August this year.
John Kenan lives in Kansas and as the place is not much known as a national hotbed for Caucasian rap and Hip Hop music, the artist will make it about to change. His songs fall under the genre of hip hop and R & B and what he creates can surely move his audience. Imagination to the nation album on indie label carries some of the tracks from his first album but is made of 80% new material.
“I would certainly call both eclectic,” Keenan offers. “We used the basic framework of hip-hop and infused it with elements of classical, funk, alternative, gospel and even country. I’ve come up with beats for years and actually hear the rap in my head as I write. After that, the chord progressions come and it turns into a song."
The second album is inspired with strong message with far from the typical bravado, cash-infused opulence and T&A that mostly influence the hip hop genre. His projects mostly feature declaration of young man’s journey along jagged pathway and living tough life and encountering hard knocks.
John Keenan is known to come from musical family where he shares same interest with his brother, Mark Keenan. His biggest musical influence is her maternal grandmother, Marlyn Thies. At early age, both John and his brother had been discovering their talent in music, writing songs and developing a unique rapping style.
